Here’s a neat pair of Indiana Jones quality control samples. The action figures are production quality and came directly from an ex-Kenner employee whose husband worked in Kenner’s Quality Department. There are multiple areas on the bubbles circled by black marker. The circled areas show where the action figures rubbed against the inside of the bubbles, leaving paint on the bubble and damaging the figures.
These samples may have been pulled from initial case shipments from the factory and inspected for shipping damage, or possibly as test samples to test how the packaging and figures would hold up under rough shipping conditions.
